GARDEN
GUIDE FOR FYNBOS
It is
recommended to share holders that they plant trees, shrubs plants for
groundcovering that are endemic to the Southern Cape Coastal region.
We have
chosen these plants for their ornamental value, as well as their use in
vegetation and for preserving the biodiversity of the area.
They need
to be planted much more densely than normal because quick cover is essential
and the plants are able to protect each other.
1. Grass
Cynodon (kweek). Avoid planting kikuyu because it is too difficult to
control and looks untidy when not attended to regularly.
